It just takes about two days to completely visit all the temples listed below to make your pilgrimage most satisfying. Just in case you have not planned your trip, you can visit some other day exclusively for these temples. KANIPAKKAM VARASIDDHI VINAYAKA TIRUPATI CHITTOOR

First and foremost visit KANIPAKAM VINAYAKA SWAMY TEMPLE located at a distance of approximately 70 kilometers 


This temple is dedicated to Vinayaka Swamy (Lord Ganesha) also called as VARA SIDDHI VINAYAKA (the one who fulfills all your wishes provided you stick to your promises).


The idol of the lord vinayak here has emerged from the earth in natural form. People also visit here to promise to the lord whatever they think is impossible to control of their own and to instill a sense of fear to adhere to what they promised. Another important and yet very powerful point is that if the person fails to keeps his vow,  they will be punished by lord ganesha.


SRI KALAHASTI TEMPLE (LORD SHIVA) KALAHASTESHWARA SWAMY

This temple is dedicated to lord shiva temple and is the most famous temple down south where Rahu-Kethu pooja is done for a life without obstructions and negative vibrations. 



This place is also called Dakshina Kailasam and considered as the Kashi of Southern India. Shiva in the form of Vayu is worshiped here.




SRI PADMAVATI TEMPLE TIRUCHANOOR TIRUPATI (ALAMELUMANGA)

Padmavathi Temple Tiruchanur (Ammavari Temple) is dedicated to Goddess Alamelu (Padmavathi) or Alamelumanga, the wife of Lord Venkateswara. There is also a temple dedicated to Lord Surya Narayana in front of Pushkarini. This temple is the most visited one in tirupati.






KALYANA VENKATESHWARA SWAMY TEMPLE SRINIVASA MANGAPURAM

Dedicated to lord venkateshwara Swamy, this temple is at a distance of 13 kilometers from tirupati. It is said that lord Balaji stayed at this place for six months after his marriage. This place is almost equal to visiting tirumala main temple, if you are unable to visit hills due to lack of time or any other reasons.






PRASANNA VENKATESHWARA SWAMY TEMPLE APPALAYAGUNTA

The uniqueness of this temple is that the hand of the presiding deity lord govinda here is the RIGHT hand which is in blessing posture compared to the main temple idol, where his hand is seen only in the posture of granting boons.




GOVINDARAJA TEMPLE TIRUPATI (DIETY IS BROTHER OF LORD VENKATESHWARA)

Govindaraja Temple is dedicated to Sri Govindaraja Swamy who is said to be brother of Lord Venkateswara Balaji. 

This temple is one of the oldest and was considered a holy place in the year 1130 AD itself. Saint Ramanujacharya made this place well known to devotees.

Earlier Parthasarathy Swamy was the presiding deity of the temple before Govindarja swamy.

The Gopuram of this temple has a majestic look with 7 uphill layers and 11 kalasas. It is located in the heart of tirupati.

KODANDA RAMA TEMPLE TIRUPATI (RAM, SITA, LAKSHMANA) (RAMULUVARU)

This temple is dedicated to lord Ram along with Sita and Lakshmana. Just opposite to this temple, there is lord Hanuman temple which is considered very powerful.






KAPILTHEERTAM KAPILESHWARA SWAMY TIRUPATI (LORD SHIVA)

Dedicated to lord shiva, this temple along with waterfalls and a small garden is one of the most beautiful places in Tirupati. This place got its name after the Kapila muni and the diety here is referred to as Kapileshwara.



bathing in this waterfalls is considered auspicious and relieves you of all your bad deeds in the past, provided you are determined to stay truthful to yourself and do only good deeds, or else the negative side effects will come to haunt you in the later stage of life. 



Devotees take bath in the water falls and then have a darshan of lord Shiva.


HARE KRISHNA TEMPLE TIRUPATI ISKON

Dedicated to lord Krishna and his partners, this building is one of the beautifully built places in Tirupati which is also called as the LOTUS temple as it shape resebles the beautiful flower in the pond.

Besides it, there is also a cow shelter (Gow-Shala) where cows are very well maintained. Feeding and donating to these cows will bless you with positive well-being.


Opposite to this temple is Ramakrishna Paramahamsa Book stall where you can get all the books related to Vivekananda and his esteemed guru.


The most notable better halves of lord krishna were Rukmini, Satyabhama, Jambavati, Kalindi, Nagnajiti, Mitravinda, Lakshmana, Bhadra. Apart from them he had also Sixteen thousand one hundred Ashtbharya's whom he is said to have saved them and they choose to be at his side for seva.





GANGAMMA TEMPLE TATAIAHGUNTA TIRUPATI (DURGA DEVI TEMPLE)

This temple has in it the native goddess of this spiritual town and it is none other than Gangamma Devi (Durga Devi).


Every year Gangamma Jatra is held in the month of May and this is considered to be very auspicious. Many devotees celebrate this day with great fervor. It is believed that Gangamma takes care of the well being of all her devotees and this city.


Praying at this temple will destroy all evil within you.




AGASTESHWARA TEMPLE MUKKOTI TONDAVADA TIRUPATI (LORD SHIVA)

This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and gets its name as Sage Agasteesha performed his poojas here and made this one of the holy places in Tirupati.


This temple can be visited either going to or returning from kanipakam as it is en-route.






PARASURAMESHWARA TEMPLE GUDIMALLAM TIRUPATI (LORD SHIVA)

This temple is dedicated to lord shiva and is located forty kilometers from tirupati on the Tiruptati kalahasti road diverting via papanaidupet. This temple is one of the oldest temples in india and is said to be very powerful.



The lord referred to here in this temple is parasurameshwa and the idol has in it, the shapes of the creator, the destroyer and the Protector i.e. (brahma, shiva, vishnu).



Parasuram worshiped lord shiva at his place lamenting for one of his cruel act of beheading his mother upon the order of his father. Though his mother's life was restored back, he was in pain that he committed such an inhuman act.


VARADARAJA SWAMY TEMPLE TIRUPATI (INCARNATION OF VISHNU)




This temple is dedicated to lord venkateshwara swamy in the form of Varadaraja




The idol is seen holding the Shanka in the upper right hand and Chakra in the left. Varadaraja is a form of Vishnu meaning ‘the king who confers boons’.The temple is believed to belong to ancient times. The outer walls of the temple bears the Chola style of architecture.

CHANDRAGIRI KODANDARAMA TEMPLE

This temple (located in chandragiri town, 10 kilometers away from tirupati) is dedicated to lord rama, his wife sita, his brothers lakshmana, bharatha, shatrygnya. Lord hanuman and garuda idols also stand majestically safeguarding their Deva.
